Drafting a Sustainable Development Plan As 2023 draws to a close, so does the drafting of the plan with the research and the evidence gathering we have undertaken in the community this year. The draft policies are intended to reflect the aspirations of Tavistock residents. These were raised in the initial survey questionnaire in 2022, and at public meetings, interviews and correspondence with community groups, businesses and other professional organizations. |

Have Your Say! In early February 2024 we publish the draft proposals for you to scrutinise and comment on. You will have the opportunity to consider whether the policies address your concerns about housing, sustainable development, heritage and the protection of your local green space. With your agreement and any amendments made, we will then submit the plan as part of the ten year joint local plan for Tavistock later in spring 2024. |
